Student Leader Clarifies Reason Behind Cancellation
DAV PG College student union president Rishabh Malhotra has clarified the reason behind the cancellation of Dhanda Nyoliwala’s show. During a recent interaction, he explained that the decision was taken due to concerns related to the content performed during the event.
Concerns Over Song Content
According to Rishabh Malhotra, some songs performed by Dhanda Nyoliwala had content that led to objections. He stated that certain parts of the performance were seen as inappropriate, which created issues.
These concerns eventually led to the cancellation of the show.
Comparison with Other Performers
He also mentioned that artists like Masoom Sharma and Ajay Hooda have performed devotional songs, including songs dedicated to Khatu Shyam. He added that such artists have even been part of religious events, and their performances have not faced similar objections.

Rishabh Malhotra further clarified that the earlier cancellation was based on specific reasons and does not mean similar actions will happen in every case. He indicated that situations depend on the nature of the content being presented.
